BECOMING ICON Live: Training Tomorrow’s Icons Today is an exclusive event designed for aspiring actors, models, dancers, musicians, and performers worldwide. This event stands out from traditional talent scouting conventions by offering real-world entertainment industry training and management, along with invaluable artist development mentorship. Participants will gain hands-on experience through acting classes online, receiving guidance from an award-winning Artist Development team in collaboration with top industry professionals, including agents, managers, producers, directors, and publicists. With dedicated mentorship and essential industry connections, attendees are equipped with the tools and support needed for successful audition bookings and to navigate their artistic careers, all while following a comprehensive Entertainment Career Guide.
Meet Jay Ward | Founder & Creator of Becoming Icon Live
With over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Jay Ward is a talent developer, producer, choreographer, and former child actor, model, and professional dancer who has worked around the world and built a career in talent representation, artist development, and management.
Jay is the founder of Icon Artist Management, where his work has connected him with teams behind iconic artists such as Beyoncé, Madonna, and Mariah Carey. His agency experience also includes McDonald/Selznick Associates (MSA), The Brogan Agency, The Casting Group, and numerous boutique talent agencies throughout Los Angeles.
As a talent agent, manager, and consultant, he has helped guide the professional development of actors, models, and dancers.
His production experience includes award shows such as the NAACP Theatre Awards and the Daytime Emmy Awards, along with corporate events around the world.
Jay created Becoming Icon Live to bridge the gap between having a dream and knowing how to pursue it. Recognizing the need for aspiring artists and their families to have access to professional training, industry education, mentorship, and meaningful career opportunities, he envisioned a program where talent would never have to navigate the entertainment industry alone.
Through Becoming Icon Live, Jay combines decades of industry experience with a commitment to preparing, educating, and empowering the next generation of artists to pursue their goals with confidence and purpose.
